I just love the Fall. You must take a ride out of the city just to see all the beautiful colors as the leaves turn. The trees and the forests are getting ready for winter and we must do the same.
Here are some things that are recommended:
Flu Shots - Especially recommended for those over 65 or with respiratory problems.
Essential Oils - Natural healing with therapeutic essential oils.
Exercise - always important but especially in winter when we tend to stay indoors.
Diet -Add seasonal vegetables and fruits to your diet. Watch those holiday meals.
Heating Systems- Make sure you get your heating system in order.
Detectors -Smoke and carbon monoxide, Good time to change those batteries - Don't take them down.
Drink More Water - Dehydration from heat is dangerous and water helps us heal.
Prevent Falls - Buy non-skid shoes for your job and watch out for walkways, carpets, stairs, and wet surfaces. Also beware of shoveling snow whether you are young or old, especially if you have a heart condition.
In closing - Take strolls with a special person who could be your child, sibling, spouse, partner, or just a friend, and enjoy what life has to offer for free.......
